Greetings and happy salutations! I’m Cin Wicked and this is Cinfully Wicked Critiques.

Assuming that you’ve found your way here because you’re a fan I won’t bore you with much detail. If you need to know more about me or about this site then click the ‘About’ tab conveniently located just above here, hopefully that will answer all your questions. To navigate to a specific series of mine check out the menus above.

Not sure what flavour is right for you? Let me give you the rundown on the various series I’ve made:

  • Cinfully Wicked Critique: The titular series of the site, my critiques approach all kinds of media and attempt to look at how our pop culture reflects our society.
  • Cinfully Wicked Shorty: Sometimes when I’m working on Cinfully Wicked Critiques I come across an interesting idea that I just can’t develop into a full series, when that happens I make a Shorty. These are quick vids that give you a glimpse into the things that pop into my head while I work, you have been warned.
  • Song Lyric Smackdown: The show that started it all, Song Lyric Smackdown is an analysis of the lyrics and musicality of popular songs interspersed with jokes and wit. Like I always say, listen and learn.
  • Song Lyric Sliders: A side series of Song Lyric Smackdown brought on by a sudden attack of plot Song Lyric Sliders follows the identity of Cin Wicked through a multiverse of reviewers. Each episode was scripted and edited by myself and then performed by a cavalcade of talented folks. If you think you’d like to do a Sliders get in touch with me we’ll see if we can work something out.
  • Wicked Extras: Here you can find my numerous attempted side projects. Some notable titles under this catchall are School of Music, where I discussed my personal musical tastes, East vs. West, an attempt to look at all the various iterations of Power Rangers and Super Sentai and complete a side by side comparison series by series, Wicked World, a place I put any movie reviews I did for special collaborations, crossovers, or just for funsies and Textual Assault, a series with a kickasstastic (yes that’s a word now) theme song where I gave brief reviews of what I’d read recently.
  • Year of CLAMP Recap: A special year-long weekly series that looks at CLAMP’s extensive catalogue of animated series and provides summary and insight based on a weekly livestreamed viewing.
  • RPG Nerd: I am something of a tabletop nerd and occasionally I come across an awesome indie game I think people should know more about. When that happens I write an RPG Nerd, a text-based review of the system mechanics, setting and crunchy bits that help cooperative storytelling along the way. At the end of each review I give a suggestion of who would probably enjoy the game in question and let you know where you can find it.
  • Cin’s Cameos: Occasionally I get asked to help out in someone’s videos and when that happens I crosspost the finished project over here so you can check out other folks in the Reviewaverse. Y’know, while still having the site be all about me (kidding).
  • Commentary: I have occasionally been known to record a commentary on one of my episodes to give folks who are interested a behind the scenes peek into what the hell I do to make these episodes. Here is where those go.
  • The Irreverencia: Here you’ll find the work of Team Wicked’s demoversi. He’s out to edutain you into submission and he’s always right. His series are ‘Irreverent Edutainment’ which presents things you should know better in a clever way and ‘Let’s Survey’ where demo riffs on customer service surveys (it’s more fun than it sounds). Beware attempts to convert you to Ke$ha, it’s too late for Cin but not for you! Do your own research and make your own opinions.
  • Team Wicked Presents: I have friends who occasionally help me out with stuff or are generally just insane. When the camera’s rolling and funny shit happens this is where I post theĀ blackmail final result. (Warning: Alcohol Frequently Involved)
  • Greater Reviewaverse: There are people I work with who do incredible work that sometimes doesn’t get as much attention as I think it deserves. As long as they’re amenable I crosspost their work here to give them a bit more exposure, so go show them some love.

That’s about everything that is easily defined, but if you poke around enough you’ll find all sorts of buried treats that don’t really fit any of the above categories. So enjoy your visit to Cinfully Wicked Critiques and remember to Think Critically.
