About Me
Alright, I hate writing these things but I’ll give it my best shot. I’m Cin Wicked, my real name is Ciaran Chatwin, and I got the nickname Cin from a delightfully funny story involving cinnamon sticks, orifices and a trip to the emergency room for irritation burns. Either that or I just took the first two letters and the last letter from my first name and jammed them together to make a nickname. I can never remember which.
I’m currently attending Trent University (Go Excaliburs!) for my undergraduate degree. I’m majoring in Cultural Studies and minoring in English Literature. Don’t ask me what I plan to do with my degree (I have no clue). I’m a self-proclaimed geek who specializes in music, tabletop RPGs, fantasy and science fiction novels and odd choices in television. I sang in a variety of choirs for six years and for the most part that’s where I learned my music analysis skills. I’ve been watching anime since I was 15 and while I predominantly enjoy shoujo series there are some shonen and straight up odd series that also make my top ten list.
My musical tastes are fairly eclectic but I tend to just tell people I like Indie stuff because its easier than explaining I like pretty much everything. I don’t have many favourites among the genres of country, rap, or hip-hop but I don’t actively dislike them either.
I read a variety of webcomics and find that the artists tend to be incredibly talented with meaningful stories to tell, even if those stories happen to be about pigs riding flying couches.
